𝐀 𝐕𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 | UMIHS partakes in the Math and Science Month Celebration

𝐴 𝑗𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑦 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑚𝑒𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑢𝑛𝑘𝑜𝑤𝑛.

On September 28, 2023, the University of Mindanao Ilang High School hosted the culmination of MathSciaka 2023. The event was organized by the UMIHS staff and students under the theme "Innovation: Powering Future Industries."

The UMIHS Math and Science Club has arranged a variety of competitions in which all students are welcome to compete. Mr. and Ms. Ecofashionista, Math and Science Quiz Bee, Digital Poster Making, Damath Tournament, Rubik's Cube Tournament, MathSciTok, and the Mosaic Competition are all part of this.  The competitions began on September 27, and the event culminated on September 28.

For the math and science quiz bee which managed to gather a lot of audience on its competition day, one team comprising three students from both JHS and SHS departments were able to bag the gold. One participant from each grade level in the Damath competition. The Rubik's Cube competition which was divided into female and male categories, awarded one champion each, and one pair of students was hailed Mr. and Ms. MathSciAka.

With the whole backing of the staff and students of UMIHS. A successful MathSciaka 2023 was achieved.
