Today, the UM Ilang High School community gathered in faith to celebrate its Second Monthly Mass, presided over by Fr. Vu Van Sy, CSCh of the Cavanis Fathers.

During his homily, Fr. Vu Van Sy reflected on the Blessed Virgin Mary's unwavering faith and her wholehearted "yes" to God's will. Despite the uncertainties that lay before her, Mary chose to trust in God's plan with humility, courage, and obedience. Her response reminds us that faith is not about having all the answers, but about trusting God even when the path ahead is unclear.

As members of the UM Ilang High School community, we are called to follow Mary's example by saying "yes" to God's invitation in our own lives—through kindness, service, compassion, and faithfulness in our daily responsibilities. May this Eucharistic celebration inspire each of us to listen to God's voice, embrace His purpose with open hearts, and live as instruments of His love wherever we may be.
