EVENTS | THROUGHOUT SEPTEMBER

As the new month begins, September is set to bring a series of meaningful activities, student-centered programs, and important academic milestones for the UM Ilang High School community.

From SEPTEMBER 1 TO 4, students will observe the STUDENTS’ WELLNESS BREAK, providing everyone with time to rest, recharge, and prioritize their well-being before returning to school activities.

On SEPTEMBER 7 (MONDAY), the school will hold its GUIDANCE SYMPOSIUM, with all students required to attend. The activity aims to provide students with valuable guidance and insights relevant to their personal and academic growth.

The following day, SEPTEMBER 8 (TUESDAY), the school community will celebrate the BUWAN NG WIKA CULMINATION, featuring an awarding ceremony recognizing the achievements and participation of students during Nutrition Month and Buwan ng Wika.

From SEPTEMBER 9 TO 11, the school will conduct the ARAL PROGRAM. Meanwhile, Quarter 2 officially begins for Grade 12 students from September 7 to 11, with assignments and learning tasks to be sent through Quipper.

Finally, on SEPTEMBER 14 (MONDAY), CLASSES WILL RESUME, marking the start of the Term 2 instructional block for Grades 7–11. In the afternoon, students will participate in the Classroom-Based Reading of Honors, recognizing academic excellence and achievement within each class.

Students are encouraged to take note of these dates and prepare accordingly as the school community moves forward into another month of learning, growth, and celebration.
