Goodbye Valentines, Hello March!

March was named after the Roman God of war (Mars) and If you were born in the Roman period you would have to be aware of the “Ides of March”. Which was a day in the Roman calendar equivalent to March 15th.It was considered a deadline for settling debts. It was also the day Julius Caesar was assassinated.
