We hope this message finds you well. The Maroon Ink will be conducting a screening for exceptional writers to join us in our quest in the upcoming Interbranch Expression Skills this April 30.

We are looking for two (2) writers for the Collaborative Writing contest, and two (2) photojournalists who will be representing our branch for the Desktop Publishing and Mobile Journalism contest. We are opening the opportunity to ALL STUDENTS OF UM ILANG as long as they possess the necessary traits of a journalist. The following are the basic qualifications:

For Collaborative Writing Contest, the writer must be:

1. A quick writer;

2. And knowledgeable of how news and feature articles are written.

For Mobile Journalism, the photojournalist must be:

1. Knowledgeable of how photos should be taken;

2. And owns a mobile phone with good camera quality.

We are accepting applicants until February 22, 2024. The actual screening will be held this February 23 at the UMIHS Campus.
