More Than A Month

‎As Pride Month comes to a close the rainbow flags may slowly come fown, but the stories, struggles, and strength of the LGBTQ+ community remains. Pride is not only about colorful celebrations—it is about recognizing the courage of a one person has who continues to live as their genuine selves despite discrimination, bullying, and prejudice.

‎Behind every color is a person who has faced judgment, discrimination, bullying, or rejection simply for being themselves. Yet despite the weight of prejudice, many continue to rise with resilience, proving that authenticity is stronger than fear.

‎The last day of Pride is not a farewell to the movement but a reminder of the work that remains. Acceptance should not be seasonal, and respect should not depend on the month. Long after June ends, may we continue to choose compassion over criticism, understanding over assumptions, and humanity over hate.

‎Because Pride is more than a celebration—it is a hope that one day, every color in the spectrum will be welcomed with the same warmth under the same sun.
