Under Republic Act No. 11440, signed into law by former President Rodrigo Duterte, we commemorate July 25 as a day to honor and uphold the freedom of student journalists across the nation.

Today we honor pens held high,

Young voices loud beneath the sky.

With truth as torch, we light the way—

Campus press stands proud today.
