On February 29, 2024, in the afternoon, the University of Mindanao Ilang High School celebrated the culmination of the 89th National Book Week with the theme, “Read, Reread, Relive.”

There were eight contests in total: quiz bee, spelling bee, word factory, poster making, spoken word poetry, short storytelling, speech choir, and musical play. The quiz bee, spelling bee, word factory, and poster making were held in December 2023. Students from different grade levels and sections joined the above-mentioned contests.
