On this day, we remember one of the greatest tragedies the Philippines has faced. The Super Typhoon Yolanda which caused countless deaths, homes left in ruin, and pure destruction. Yolanda left a devastating mark on the Visayas region, especially Tacloban City, and parts of Leyte and Samar.

Yet, despite the chaos, the Filipino spirit still stands stronger than the storm. Each Filipino united, standing as one, helping one another to get through this storm.

As we remember this day, let us remember all of the lives taken, those who risked their lives to rescue and help their fellow Filipinos, and our unwavering unity.
