Exploring One’s Minds Within Shared Realities

On February 2nd to 3rd, the Grade 11 Emerald, HUMSS Strand opened a mini-museum titled “Exploring One’s Minds Within Shared Realities,” showcasing different perspectives in understanding society and human behavior. The exhibit featured key social theories such as Structural Functionalism, Psychoanalysis, Symbolic Interactionism, and Marxism, presented through creative displays, informative panels, and interactive sections.

Through each part of the museum, visitors were guided to reflect on how society functions as a system, how the unconscious mind influences actions, how meaning is formed through everyday interactions, and how power and inequality shape people’s lives. More than just a school requirement, the mini-museum became an engaging learning experience that encouraged students to think critically, connect ideas to real-life situations, and appreciate the complexity of shared realities.
