TYPHOON UWAN UPDATE

Typhoon Uwan or Typhoon Fung-wong weakened on November 10, 2025, as it continued to move from the Ilocos Region.
Super Typhoon Uwan made landfall on Sunday night of November 9 on Aurora, then crossed the Luzon landmass, then downgraded and identified as a typhoon as of November 10.
8 provinces still remain under signal no 4. At 7 a.m., Uwan was located 125 km west northwest of Bacnotan, La Union, packing winds of 150 kilometers per hour.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned the public to be on alert for hazards, including floods, landslides, and storm surges.

Stay indoors and away from windows. Keep listening to weather updates and turn off electrical appliances. Do not go outside until authorities declare it safe. Evacuate only if needed and conditions allow.
